HOW wouldnt it be possible that the scent of roses in full bloom didnt actually BECOME part of a perfectly weathered teal house by the sea?
considering the daily heat of the summer sun, as the blooms open and receive steady warmth, then embrace both rain and winds, fading gently into crisp cool evening air, often inside moonlight, surrounded by stars
would the house not then actually contain the scent of the roses and the sea? and therefore become a part of the wood and structure itself, only to be further sealed permanently, as fall and winter envelope themselves around the house?
OH I SAY YES!
so this piece is just a love note.
to the roses on the cape blooming in full all over weathered houses.
houses full of history, houses containing stories both triumphant and sorrowful, houses sparkling with peripheral and everlasting magic.
i hope you love this painting.
and thank you so much for looking
