HELLO FRIENDS!
well this piece is a vibrantly painted wooden panel, that began as a raw celebration of both renaissance and revolution, inspired by the theme of provincetown and especially the 2024 provincetown carnival theme this summer..
AND AS I EXUBERANTLY EXPLORED this piece- 
i realized while within the actual arch of both action and play, (a fun place to be) i was discovering with much reverence and joy, that not only did flowers consistently display the absolute AUDACITY to bloom every year,
 (no matter the weather, the political climate, the internal storms of gardeners, etc etc) 
but that they also reserved the right to reinvent themselves, to adapt, and to relocate, even.. ULTIMATELY all in order to protect the purest commitment to their own vibrancy and lifespan within a unique and thriving community.
so as i mixed colors and splashed around like a kid, i delighted in my realization that there absolutely was a both a revolutionary and decidedly delicious combination of both elegance and badassery, woven within the characteristics of all flowers, really, and that these traits should be honored and explored in so many wonderfully different gardens within my own life, and within our community's life, and perhaps most ESSENTIALLY- within all of our own lives.. 
and by ALL, i CERTAINLY mean within all the vastness those sentences above could ever contain or implore us to consider
so i ended up valuing my colorful dance with this wooden panel a tremendous amount, is what im saying, and way more than i expected- bc who knew an abstract floral painting might serve as an ongoing metaphor, or even as an actual road map for abundant, healthy, happy, and harmonious living? 
well, besides us, right now?
